  • Librarians Do Research Too! A free downloadable 25-page booklet from Carol Tenopir & Library Connect for LIS professionals who want to start their own research projects
  • HYPOTHESIS Official journal of the research section of MLA, addressing practical aspects and “how to’s” of the research process, as well as other articles aimed at providing better understanding of research methods
  • Research Training Institute Fellowship Program The Research Training Institute Fellowship Program for Health Sciences Librarians (RTI) of the Medical Library Association (MLA) is an one-year online continuing education program that provides advanced research methods training and an intensive level of support for health sciences librarians to design, conduct and successfully disseminate a research project. The program starts in May and applications are open in the fall and close late February each year.
  • Evidence You Can Use To Communicate Library Value The guide provides access to research studies and data that librarians can use to advocate to employers and the public the value, impact, and benefits of health sciences libraries and librarians.
  • The Librarian Parlor is a space to ask questions and share experiences about library research
  • NNLM Proposal Writing Toolkit is a guide to help NNLM Network Members apply for funding through each of the Regional Medical Libraries, Offices, and Center.
