Initial Charge (for FY 2023-2024): The Community & Belonging Task Force fosters diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the activities and membership of MLGSCA.
- Investigate whether a standing committee on diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) issues should be formed and makes recommendations to the Advisory Council.
- Establish the task-force's official statement.
- Gather feedback from and relay information to membership on how the Task Force can support members in their professional work.
- Investigate the possibility of partnerships with other committees within the local chapter.
