The event will be held virtually via Zoom and will be free to attend for all members and non-members and will include Speaker(s), Lightning Talks, Round Tables, and raffle prizes including memberships and gift cards.

Call for Presentations & Lightning Talks

Presentations will be approximately 15 minutes long and lightning talks will be 5 minutes long.  Powerpoint slides are encouraged but not required. We encourage all MLGSCA members, especially hospital librarians, solos, newly minted librarians and those who aren’t able to attend or present at MLA in Portland to submit your proposal to us.  Deadline for submissions is Friday May 24, 2024.

For proposals, submit a 250 word or less abstract describing your project. Include your name, position title, employer, phone number and email address. Email your abstract to Danielle.linden@stjoe.org and put either “lightning talk proposal” or “presentation proposal” in the subject line depending upon your preference.

For the upcoming MLGSCA Virtual conference we want to know about your furry friends.  Send a picture, no more than 4, and we will showcase them in a PowerPoint for all attendees to view and say “awwww!”
