    The Be Well MLA initiative promotes wellness and well-being among members of the Medical Library Association. MLA members are invited to participate in the monthly Be Well Wednesday series. In these sessions, MLA members and guests will share lessons learned, strategies, and tips about a variety of wellness topics. Series events will run from September 2023 to April 2024, culminating at MLA '24.

    Register in advance for these sessions. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the Zoom session. 

    All sessions are from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EST); presentations are 60 minutes long, followed by an optional 30-minute discussion with the presenters and the Be Well MLA team.

    • MLA Research Training Institute (RTI) is an online continuing education program for health sciences librarians and LIS graduate students that provides advanced research methods training and an intensive level of support as participants successfully design, conduct, and disseminate a research project.

    Applications for the Research Training Institute are accepted until February 19, 2024, 11:59pm, Central Time.

    Applicants accepted to the institute will be notified in April 2024.
